Had an awesome stay with friends! We visited the Babe Zaharias Golf Course and loved the wildlife viewing at a nearby refuge, both less than a mile from the hotel. The staff was really friendly, and the breakfast options were fantastic. I definitely recommend this place for a fun group getaway!

One downside was a cold shower situation I heard about from other guests, but luckily we didn't encounter that ourselves.

I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express in Port Arthur. The friendly staff made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. I loved the pancake-making machine at breakfast. it added a fun touch to my morning routine. The variety of breakfast options was impressive too, with fresh fruits, yogurts, and hot items like biscuits and gravy. My room was spacious and clean, making it a pleasant retreat after a long day. The general cleanliness stood out throughout the property. However, the bed height was an issue. It's way too high, making it inconvenient for shorter guests to get in and out comfortably. I can imagine this might be challenging for those with mobility issues as well. When I checked in, the front desk staff could have been more efficient. I waited a bit longer than expected, which was frustrating after a long trip. The hallway seemed oddly designed, lacking a welcoming ambiance. Overall, the stay had its ups and downs, but the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. I'll consider returning, especially if they address the bed height problem.

The newly remodeled bathrooms were a game changer, boasting a spacious walk-in shower that felt like a luxury spa every time I used it. I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly staff and proximity to nearby parks like tex ritter park, which is about 3 km away, and the dutch windmill museum just a short stroll from the hotel. it's perfect for city walks and sightseeing.

I stayed here on business and the breakfast was excellent! They had a pancake machine, which was not only cool but even better than what I expected in a place like this. Woah!
